Only light can drive out darkness

“Let no man pull you low enough to hate him.”
When Martin Luther King, Jr. said these words, he meant that hate is the easy path, the emotion that will bounce from person to person recharging itself.
Fam, I know these recent days have been frustrating, emotionally draining with all those feelings surging within you, and hurtful to say the least.
But want to encourage you to not give into hate. It’s easy to throw your hands up in the air and let the most prominent emotion guide you. Change the culture, change the narrative to what anger can do.
I often say adversity creates purpose because it’s a fact. You don’t know the extent of your resilience and greatness until it is put to the test. We know it’s being put to the test now.
It’s time for you to show what you’re made of.
Only Light can drive out Darkness.
